First Body is a 4-piece improvisational group of close friends based in Berlin. In every rehearsal and performance, we try to explore new soundscapes, blending the acoustic character of wind instruments (saxophone, recorders) with electronic processing. Using live looping, a harmonizer, and effect pedals, we amplify and transform these sounds - allowing us to improvise not only with each other, but also with our own evolving loops in real time.

This release captures the live recording of our debut concert as a quartet at Silent Green Kulturquartier in Berlin. SINERGIYA (Lautschrift für bulg. синергия / dt. Synergie) ist die Zusammenarbeit des elektroakustischen Ensembles First Body mit dem bulgarischen multi-nationalen Frauenchor Bulgarian Voices Berlin unter der Leitung von Boryana Velichkova.

SINERGIYA (phonetic spelling for bulg. синергия / engl. synergy) is a collaboration between the electro-acoustic ensemble First Body and the Bulgarian multi-national women's choir Bulgarian Voices Berlin under the direction of Boryana Velichkova.
